💜 The world sees the achievement. CheersBuddy celebrates the journey.

🏆 87th out of 4,280 participants. Top 2%. This weekend, CheersBuddy's founder, Tunde Maria Kovacs, reached the top 2% of the HackerRank Orchestrate 2026 leaderboard. The final rankings are still to be confirmed. But this isn't really a story about a ranking. It's a story about everything that happened before it. ✨ The hours of learning after a long day at work. ✨ The mistakes nobody saw. ✨ The small breakthroughs that didn't feel big enough to celebrate. ✨ The courage to keep learning when the results were still invisible. Because every visible success has an invisible journey behind it. And that's exactly why CheersBuddy was created. We believe your effort deserves recognition long before it becomes an achievement the world applauds. You don't need a trophy. You don't need a promotion. You don't need to be in the top 2%. Your progress matters right now. Even the quiet parts. 💜 Whether you're learning something new, rebuilding your confidence, changing careers or simply taking one meaningful step forward — there's something worth recognising. 🌱 CheersBuddy is a place to recognise your growth, celebrate your effort and connect with people who want to cheer you on. Because sometimes the smallest victories lead to the biggest transformations.

I saw this dress and thought, “It’s too magical for me.” ✨

But I bought it anyway... When I finally wore it, something felt different. I felt magical. I felt comfortable being seen that way. And I realised this moment wasn't really about the dress. The win was everything that brought me here. All the little steps. All the effort. All the moments I chose to acknowledge my progress instead of overlooking it. Celebrating my little wins slowly made me proud of myself. And somewhere along the way, that pride changed the way I saw myself. I started to feel worthy. Worthy of wearing the dress. Worthy of feeling beautiful. Worthy of enjoying the moment without questioning whether it was “too much for me.” That is what little wins can do. One might seem insignificant on its own. But when we start recognising them, they become evidence of how far we've come. And sometimes, one ordinary moment makes you realise: I've changed. ✨ That is my win today. 💗

Today’s win: I completed the Overgate Colour Run 🌈

Today’s win: I completed the Overgate Colour Run 🌈 It was not just about the distance. It was about showing up after doubt. Training through windy routes, hills, tired legs, and a worried knee. Learning when to push and when to protect myself. Starting anyway. Finishing anyway. That is exactly why I built CheersBuddy. Because progress is not always loud. Sometimes it is a small run after a hard week. Sometimes it is choosing rest instead of forcing yourself. Sometimes it is getting back up after a bad day. Sometimes it is simply saying: “I did it.” CheersBuddy is a space to post those small wins — the effort that often goes unseen, but still matters. Your effort deserves to be recognised. Your progress counts.

A letter from my last season

Looking back over your last three months, a few things are quietly true. You gave your effort a place to land again and again. Much of your energy lived in Focus, and it shows in the trail of small steps you left there. Along the way, people saw what you were doing and said so. Your progress did not move through this season unwitnessed. You also paused to notice yourself in writing a few times — private words, kept for no one's approval but your own. None of this needed to be impressive to be real. The person reading this letter is not quite the person the season started with. — Your Growth Mirror

CheersBuddy is now live on Google Play 🎉

Today’s win is a big one: CheersBuddy is officially live on Google Play. This started as an idea for a kinder space where small wins, real effort, and quiet progress could be seen and encouraged. Now it has become a real app that people can download, use, and be part of. It took testing, fixing, rebuilding, waiting, doubting, learning, and trying again — but we got here. A reminder that progress does not have to be perfect to be real.

My first CheersBuddy win

I started planning my next step and wrote down one small thing I can do today, even though it felt messy.

Daily Check-In

“What new thing are you exploring today?”

5km Done. Now We Go Again. 🏃‍♀️

A month ago I completed my first ever 5km — the finish line of my first running plan with Runa. That felt huge. Because it was. So I signed up for the Overgate Hospice Colour Run 5km on 11 July — because why not put it to the test? And today I start a brand new training plan. Not to prove I can run 5km. I already know I can. This time I'm running it with purpose. I’m running this Colour Run as part of the CheerBuddy community—we cheer every step of progress, and this run is my step! Plan complete. Race booked. Round two starts today. 💪 https://www.justgiving.com/page/-cheersbuddy?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL
